Two romantic films are set to hit cinemas across the country today.
They are Ice-cream, directed by Redoan Rony, and Baje Chhele (The Loafer), which marks the directorial debut for Monirul Islam Sohel and Rahim Babu who collaborated on the project.
Ice-cream is Rony’s second film that comes over three years after his critically acclaimed debut film Chorabali.
It stars three new faces, Uday, Raj and Tushi, and deals with the nuances and complications of modern-day relationships. And as Ice-cream is better kept at a definite temperature, so is a romantic relationship, the director said.
Baje Chhele, on the other hand, is a typical Dhallywood-style romantic film with Bappy Chowdhury playing a womaniser who juggles five girls at the same time.
The five girls are played by Bipasha Kabir, Aarshi Khan, Deepali, Patrali and Jennet.
Ice-cream will be released at nearly 30 cinemas while Baje Chhele will be released at 45 cinemas.
